Went to an 'Old Timers' car show yesterday in the Herz area of Germany.

Was waved through the car park and directed to put my Tuscan on show.
Got quite a lot of attention as well.

Similiar thing happened to me in Norway last year, was told about a classic and sports car show at Sola airport so popped along in the Tamora, was just about to turn into the visitors car park when I was ushered towards the show ground. got my money out to pay the gate keeper but he said my car was free, gave me a ticket and was told to follow the marshals they proudly made me park in the British section of the show next to an E type and a Healy unknowingly my Tam was entered into the judging section. I was supposed to fill out a description card and display it on the windscreen for the visitors to judge (favourite car of the day or something like that). but I didn't have a pen so just got out and went for a look around. I was suprised at the variety of cars on show for such a small event and it was in the aircraft museum so had plenty to look at. When I went back to my car to go a crowd gathered around me asking loads of questions because I hadn't left any details about it. Took me 40 mins before I could drive off. Mine was the only TVR in the show and didn't realise how much the Norwegians like British sports cars until then.
