Hi guys,

I decided to create a Le mans guide with a breakdown of all the teams for a friend who is coming for the first time this year and is still learning the sportscar ropes.

It's quite detailed, and ever so slightly biased but what can you do?

I'm sure peope will disagree with my opinions about teams but it's worth a read If you want to get your head round this years entry list....

I have only completed lmp1 so far, and I will slowly complete each class.

If you want to read it drop me a PM with your email address and I will send it to you, and keep sending updates as I complete each class
Thanks,
Stephen

Good idea smile

Can i make a suggestion re: sharing it? Instead of you having to reply to emails from x amount of PHers, you could set it up so that it can be easily downloaded. I use Dropbox which has a public sharing option on all files you store on it.

May be worth it in the long run hehe

I'd be interested to have a read too, and it might be useful for a first-timer who's coming with me as well. Don't mind the bias so long as you're pro-Audi...

Dropbox is a good tool and that sounds like a good simple idea to avoid too much agro sending the bits out.

If its something that you enjoy doing then go ahead and good luck. I'll read it for sure. But Club Arnage do spend a huge amount of time preparing a guide that is probably into 140 pages long now. Not free though as they do request a small donation

I am doing this for our trip to Spa - this is only a sample of page 1( It will be laminated for obvious reasons) and will be making one for le mans as well It is a word document so it can be changed and modified to suit your own needs... the font is magistral

Thats cool, but mine is a page of text for each car and not just a spotters guide.

Well, you;re getting off to a canny start, what with offering guides etc. I'd be chuffed with a copy, I am 1 newbie out of 5, and the other lads are only really going for the beer - we need all the help we can get =)

The Club Arnage guide is great, but mine focuses on purely the teams and contains information about each car and a rating. I love creating things like this anyway....

I am waiting for one car's design (MIK) to be announced following a competition.... perhaps I should offer it out and then post the picture and people can insdert it into the list themselves whenever the picture arrives...
