eBay is the last place I'd buy a watch, particularly a branded one like TAG, Omega etc.
You can get substantial discounts off people like Dom H (so I've read) and the forums like TZ have some bargains from time to time. A 2006 Breitling Steelfish X-plus for £875 and a full size Omega SMP, admittedly quartz, for £500 being two that stick out in my mind.
