G Shock assistance

Gents,

My old G-Shock has had it`s day, the strap has finally succombed to the years of contact with hydraulic fluid and other synthetic oils and, well, I just feel like a new one.....

Anyway, does anybody here know what the difference between the GW-500E-1VER (£60 on the net) and the GW-500U-1VER (£74 from the same supplier) is?

They look identicle and as far as I can work out have the same features so I`m a bit stumped.

I am guessing that the U model can time synch in more regions than the E model.

Thanks for that, I`ve been trying to find some more out but it still isn`t much clearer.

Anyway, I`ve managed to find the E model on the net for £50 so that looks like the winner.

Has anybody used watchesbytimepiece.com before? They`ve got a few stores so look like a trustworthy set-up.
