Anyone else watching this? I've caught it over the past few weeks and the amount of work they do in such a short space of time is incredible, most of the labour is voluntary.

The background stories of the home owners is very touching.

You and me both; very sad, and such lovely well mannered children who will lose their Dad shortly. Kind of puts your own life into perspective.

Bum, wanted to watch last weeks episode on iPlayer but too late.

Delightful family.
Windows smashed by neighbours???
I hope the family spend as much time as they are given together in their lovely house.

It's like a mini Extreme Makeover Home Edition with Ty Pennington.

Only seen one, they built a lift into an average size house for a lad who collapsed suddenly from a heart problem and needed surgery but to add to it he ended up having both legs amputated due to blood clots!!

They had plasterers who were only going to do one day but ended up doing 3 days voluntary work. That's the spirit.

It is. But its a shame their company logos get blurred out. They are giving their time (and possibly materials) for free, why not let them show their company names on the clothing?

They dont blur the Mercedes badge on the Sprinter van, and I bet that wasnt provided free afterall...

missed this episode, but this programme regularly makes my eyes itch when it does stuff for folks that really deserve it, as opposed to 60 minute makeover, and the like.

the programme when it almost rebuilt the house for the singlke mum with the Downs Syndrome lad who needed a wet room on every floor, and threw in a james bond bedroom - Nick Knowles, you've earned the licence fee, have a pint!!

Love what they do but I have always wondered about the wisdom of painting walls so soon after they have been plastered?

What a humble family. The children were lovely.

Is it some kind of special 3D tv that sticks something in your eye towards the end of the show? as it got me and my tv is old.

I live in the same road in Chessington, the first I knew was when I mentioned to someone that I thought I'd seen someone that looked like Billy from DIY SOS..

Really felt for that family, as I do with all of them tbh, how builders could do a runner with the money from a single parent family with a downs lad is beyond me.

I love this series, always gets me going. Lovely family. Great attitudes from the kids, it does make you wonder though how they'll adjust to having their own rooms having spent so much time in each other company!
