After all the comments I've had about TVR reliabilty from my brother (a Boxster S owner), I undertook a Boxster that was coming to a halt right in the middle of Dartford tunnel today. Sorry if this was any PH'er BTW but did find it mildly amusing after all the defending of TVR reliabilty I've had to do over the past few years.

I wouldnt wish it on anyone........well actually that isnt true, as there are a few people that I would.

But I agree with you Joolz, there is something satisfying as a Tiv driver about seeing a broken down Porker, it re-inforces my belief that all men are created equal and that the ying and yang are back in balance.

I was driving along a few months ago following a 911, we were both eerrrm...making progress, I thought it looked a bit smokey, then, even though it was a lovely bright day there was what looked like rain on the windscreen, putting two and two together I decided not to turn the wipers on but reached up over to see what was on the screen, twas oil, so, even though it was a porker I thought I had better let him know, got him to pull over where we both stopped to have a look at the damage and the neat trail of oil left on the M25!

Anyway, in hindsight and considering the smug my car never breaks down, I can use it every day, isn't yours a kit car type comments I've had to listen to from various German car owners, I should have let him blow the bugger up!
