Hi all

Just a quick question with regards to the front fog lamps. The drivers side lamp is full with condensation and was wondering what is the best way to rectify this? I just took the lamp out from the front bumper and it seems that it is a sealed unit and if this is the case I will have to buy a new unit I'm assuming? I understand that's this is a common problem and hoping that there is a simple solution.

Thanks in advance.

Not had an e46, but had similar so I'd leave it in the airing cupboard to dry out; then see if you can tell where the water's getting in. Some sealant might fix it.

Drill a small hole in the backing plastic to let it vent in the future.

You're obviously not driving around with them on constantly like the manual advises. wink

Took mine off as I never use them. Anyway they got in the way of the brake ducts for track work!
