Escort RS2000

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a mk6 Ford Escort RS2000. What is the going price for one at the moment, as it seems they vary between ~ £1200 - £2500 on very similar quality.

Also, what is the market like for these at the moment?

if you want 4wd make sure it is still operating as a 4wd as there was time that transfer boxes were not refurbishable not like now so some had the transfer box removed and were left as 2wd. That said there are some good examples around on ebay there was a 4wd one in noveau red (rare Colour) with Functioning 4wd & AC going for £2500 with a fully documented history and I think it is a very nice car for the cash and is well maintained

Yes I've seen that one on ebay - good example, just not too keen on the colour. So is around £2.5k a good benchmark for a 4wd? What is the premium over a 2wd one?
