Does anyone use r888's
I had them on a 410bhp evo 9 and they were literally incredible, they warmed up pretty quick and the dry grip was something else. They lasted pretty well too, i did 5k ish on them and when i sold the car i reckon they could have done another 3k easy maybe more.
My problem is with using them on a tuscan is that on a rwd car (tuscan rr) they may just burn away very quickly, it doesn't in my experience take too much wheelspin to destroy softer tyres, but that said if they produce the grip i want then maybe they wont let the wheels spin (as much).
So any one use them? How have they lasted? I really dont care how bad they are in the wet as wet weather for me is stay at home time either way

I use triple 8's as a full time tyre for road and trackdays.
As you said, dry road grip is fantastic and even wet grip imho is better then T1R's, (unless we're talking standing water).
As for wear, my first set didn't last long on the track, now about to change my 4th set and this last set have lasted incredibly long, all due I believe to my driving style becoming smoother and less agressive

I have just got about 7 dry, 2 wet, road work and finally 1 drag racing day out of a set!
Go for it, straighten those roundabouts
