STD iso connector, or should be. Should be plug and play.

Some great radios around at the moment.

Changed the radio in my mk1 recently for an alpine iPod compatible one. Was an absolute pain as there is very little space. Had to chop back most of the iso conector wires and it just about fits. Need to sort some decent speakers now as the standard ones are crap...

I changed my Mk2 for an Alpine I-phone compatible as well.
Halfords charged me 20 quid and it took 10 minutes tops.
(more space than on the Mk1 I understand).

If you've got time, best thing to do is remove the dash top (two bolts, one underneath in each corner and fiddly to get to) then you can pull all the wires back underneath the dash and do a neat job of it.

There's a thread somewhere with pics detailing the removal but can't find it.
