Hi

I have been lurking for a while and have found myself drawn into wanting a Seiko Monster..... smile

Courtesy of spending a small fortune at Tescos, I find myself with £300 worth of vouchers to spend at Goldsmiths.

They don't stock everything, but can get most mainstream brands in.

What watch would you folks recommend for a £300 spend there? (They can't get Christopher Ward btw)

My current watches include a Heuer Silverstone, Black TAG Monaco and Omega Speedmaster.

Thank you

Goldsmiths do Tissot. For that money I'd look at PRC200 or the V8. That latter is a bit similar to your Speedy but perhaps get a different colour face?

Can't offer any advice, other than to say took my new Monster into Goldsmiths in Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh today to get the strap resized and they never charged me a penny!

Even gave me a nice wee velvet pouch for the extra links.

Nice wee surprise.

I'd go for Seiko, in particular SRP043K (Sennko/Spork)

Yes, I like!

How much?! (When you pay with vouchers, you pay RRP....)

I saw one of these in there a while back, VERY light and 8mm thin!

You might get the price down with a little haggling (most other places are seling them about £340), but:

Nice simple, clean design.
