Hi,
I’m off to look at a Tamora this weekend and would like to know what oil pressures to look for at what revs.
Also any other advice is more then welcome.
Thank you.

Idle, when hot, 10-14 psi in my experience. (3.6 T350 Power rebuild)
Driving, add 12-14 psi per 1000 rpm, up to about 50-60 psi iirc.

My speed six Cerbera 30k miles 45-50 oil pressure on cold start up and about the same when running and up to temperature at motorway speeds (80mph= 45 oil pressure). When up to temperature and ticking over oil pressure is about 15ish(i:e 900rpm)

Car just serviced and given a clean bill of health.

God luck with the viewing

Oil pressure sensors are a bit of a weak point on the S 6.

Hot oil, if ticking over as it should, at about 900 rpm, expect 15-20 psi.

Hot at 3500 rpm, expect 45-48 psi.

Depends on the oil too, if it's using a something 40 oil, I would expect hot pressures to be less than a something 50 oil.

The figures I have quoted are for 15-50 oil and have varied very little in the 5 S6 engined cars (t-cars) we have owned.
