I've been using Aerospace 303 on my tyre walls, and I am pleased with the finish and how it doesn't build up leaving a greasy mess as other dressings do. £15 + £5 P&P for a 16oz bottle is a bit steep though, can anybody point me in the right direction to where I can buy it any cheaper, maybe buying in bulk if need be, thanks.

Similar price again, I think that around £19 inc delivery is the norm, thanks for your replies.

Pretty sure Polished Bliss offer free delivery these days?

If you have an Canoeing or Spa/Hot-tub places local to you it might be worth trying them.

Tbh I've only recently tried 303 as I had a new car and wanted to protect the interior from the sun as there's a lot of glass - seems fantastic stuff but like you say it isn't cheap and I'd be wary of using it on tyres simply based on cost.

Now this is just a thought, and I know it used to be a dirty word, but for tyres, have you thought of something like Armor-All?

Good call, I used to use that years ago and it was very good, I'll pick some up this week.

I know it used to get a bad rap, so I did a little digging and came across this thread - http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=...

I figure with an explanation like that from Meguiar's it can be considered pretty safe for tyres.

In the end I got the 303 for the interior as a bottle will last a few years I suspect, plus Halfords only had the glossy armor-all which I thought may be too shiny for my liking.

Cheap though, £3.99 IIRC and they seem to have 3 for 2 on now at Halfords.

There's Mike @ The Polishing Company, and Ron from Motorgeek doing it too.
Phil @ Shinerama also.

I was curious what yours and others impressions are of the finish it does leave. I just started using this a bit and it seems it almost doesn't leave any finish or all. Does it have some rehydration properties? I want to protect the various plastic and rubber parts on my car including tires but so far on some trim after using this it still looks a little greyish black rather than a dark black. But it's true, I too don't want to use the really shiney greasy products for plastic and rubber.

I use Zaino Z-16 now, a few drops go a long way and it works out far cheaper than 303.
