Or can you get there anywhere else (cheaper!)

Also, would it be ok to have Yoko rears and P6000 fronts until the fronts need changing? Can't really afford a full set of Yokos at the moment and front P6000s have a good 5000 miles of tread on them I reckon.

Blink do them for £399 all in.

And you can get them fitted at any of their track days.

hmmm, my next free weekend is in August so thats not really an option. If Blink can get them, presumably a tyre dealer could?

Does anyone have any views on Yoko rears and Pirelli fronts until the fronts need changing?

wet weather handling where you would probably get more grip at the rear than the front apart from that I wouldnt really worry about it as I have seen loads of S1's with the Pirelli front / Yoko rear combo.

A tyre dealler I know tried everywhere to get hold of Advans for me but to no avail.

Usually the independent dealers go ape if the manufacturers try to limit stock to authorised dealers. Pirelli and Renault did a few years ago and all of the uk tyre dealers boycoted buying all Pirelli tyres for 2 weeks until they backed down.

Unfortunately not going to work with Lotus as there is not the same demand.

As far as I know, it's dealers only for Advans. I also tried to get my local tyre fitters to source them, but to no avail. Couldn't recommend the Yoko's enough though. Done about 250 miles on my set and the difference over the P-Zero's is huge...especially under cornering and heavy braking. But I wouldn't change only one pair. Unless you've already got the different size (195 fr & 225 re) you run the risk of upsetting the balance between front and rear. Change all 4 if you can...
