Ok, I've had a little to drink but I can't help thinking there's someone like Peter Wheeler out there with cash on the hip and with balls the size of water melons that wants to rescue TVR back to Britain! I'm so proud the fact that I own a true British sports car and to think it's being Americanised scares me, TVR's are brutal, ballsey and British, say no to nancy CO2 emissions and the nannys from the EU saying we need a thousand airbags, traction control and ABS in a 1 liter Micra!

Please someone save TVR!!!

It wont happen sir,this bloody country has gone soft.All you hear about is co2 control and the people who moan the most or have control over it are the worst offenders.We are small fry in the sceme,but easy targets for money robbery(tax).Firms like Tvr and all the good old British companys have been dealt a bad hand,in this day and age money,a quick turn around,and shoddy work,all seem to go hand in hand.Pride has gone out the window in most cases.;)And i dont even drink

If you take a trip to Stoneleigh Kit Car show tomorrow you may find a company that can supply a British built product that will fulfill your needs. Most companies will build you a turn-key car if you aren't able to do it yourself.

I will admit there are some real eyesores there but there are a few jems too. Most would be a little more "hard-core" than a TVR but they can give a petrolhead the much needed fix he/she requires.

You could even use a Cerbera engine if you wanted!!!!
