Decking treatment
Discussion
Any treatments recommended to treat/restore decking?
I'd much rather use something that soaks into the wood, than something you paint on the surface. Decks that have been painted tend to look crap as the surface ages and flakes off.
When I creosote my fences they look new, then gradually age until they need doing again. Some wood planters we were done with a coloured exterior wood treatment and they now look s
t with bits flaking off, they can only really be treated by stripping the old finish off, thats what I want to avoid.
