Jaguar X type. Needles flutter on turning ignition off...

Have just bought a Jaguar X-Type, 2.5.

I have just noticed that when you turn the ignition off, you hear everything power down, and then the rev-counter needle sort of does a small flutter.

Is this normal? Just seemed a bit strange...

Very happy with the car though!
