At least it's over and done with early - I came in yesterday from sitting outside as the noise from various garden and DIY machinery around me was deafening.

I wouldn't mind but I live in a rural village. My brother lives in the middle of Liverpool and sitting in his garden last weekend it was virtually silent (apart from almost constant emergency vehicle sirens in the distance smile ).
