gearbox oil level?

Can anyone please tell me how to check the gearbox oil level?
Also how to change the oil?

Hi Steve , there is a level threaded bung on the side about half way up and also a drain bung on the bottom , take the bottom one put drain oil then refill until it comes out of the level bung . Job done :-)

There's also a fill plug on the top of the tranny. Helpful, non-Noble specific hint - always remove the drain plug LAST. That way, if the level or fill plugs are seized or stripped, you find out before you drain all the oil, and you can still drive the car to someone who can fix the problem. If you pull the drain plug first, you're stuck...
