.....is apparently the Pivetta Opera at a whopping US$650,000 retail price! At 6 feet tall it must be impressive in the flesh, but is it really true?? Are there people out there that would buy something like this?

is it true that there are people out there that would buy a lambo of a multi million pound house?

Now available at only $490,000! Doubtless there are customers out there who can and will pay that. I think the question I would want to know is - Is it 1000 times better than a $400 one?

It is Huge though

Pah that is $650k for 12 channels, working out at just over $50k per channel. The Goldmund Telos 3500 is $150k per channel, so a similar set up would set you back $1.8million. Don't forget you still need to add a source/pre amp/speakers/cables.

Just to add, the Goldmund stuff has some aesthetic appeal, that stuff just looks industrial.
