Mercedes S600 V12 Bi turbo Engine Needed Help!!!!

Hi I am the owner of a Mercedes S600 V12 Bi-Turbo car and the engine has died.

Mercedes Brooklands are unsure as to why this is and to find out will charge me around 3k to investigate.

I have taken it to a specilist and they have taken off the coil packs and removed the plugs to find that there are deep scratch marks on the bores and a bottom end knock.

They have told me that its time to replace the engine and I cant find one.

Can anybody help - this is the best car in the world and I have to fix it.

Tell me about it The orginal Invoice for the car shows £147,000 + Vat and the cost of an engine from merc is £49,169 without suspention, water, steering pumps, turbos etc... so wat £14k to fit it!

I'd have the original one in bits over a weekend. See what it's actually done & go from there.

A set of custom made pistons won't set you back 1/10th of that bill, I'm sure all rest of the bits could be available if you know where to look.

Many thanks, ive had an engine specialist look at it who suggested the same prior to them seeing it then after looking at it have told me its an engine.. i dont know what to do or who to speak to
