M5 e39 Vamoose
Discussion
My e39 M5 was nicked on Thursday !! popped out for 30 mins to pick up something in the 'skip' [my wife's CRV] and when I got back all the windows on house had been attached !
Back door attacked and finally they'd pushed through a window on conservatory. The police said " they must have really wanted your car !!" expect the bl**dy did.
Bleach sprayed everywhere to cover tracks
Loved that car but have been told that it will be in container on way to scumbag home !!
No tracker so they may have parked up and left to check for a week to see?
If anyone spots Y reg blue shiny, spotless fully loaded M5 shout out !!
Cheers

Come on Sunnyboy, "blue" would that be Avus, Le Mans, Bluewater, Topaz, Steel or Toledo? I know not all of these are M5 colours but they are all e39 blues. I am a firm believer in puting out as much information as possible to help catch these scum.Cheers
I hope it is recovered but more information might help.

Still hacked off from Bucks !!!

These cars are now really too old to be shipped out of the country. You should always leave the inbuilt code on as it aint gonna start unless that's working.
Most M5 also had a tracker fitted so it may well be parked up for a couple of days. I would spend the next 24 hours driving around the local council estate garages as I bet it's parked up.
Post a recent photo of it with the number plate and everything !

How does parking up for a while help? Would the tracker not pick it after when it starts moving again? Or is that just to make sure that if it is going to be picked up, then the culprits are not around at the time...?Most M5 also had a tracker fitted so it may well be parked up for a couple of days. Once Tracker has been alerted, the signal is constant, vehicle moving or not. Most scrotes tend to park the car up for a day or so out of sight and sometimes the Feds will pick it up during that time and sometimes not. Standard practice. Bad luck
I wouldn't mind a car being stolen, but the attack on the house is just a bit too much, especially with bleach splashing.
Kinda thing you'd expect when these were new, so I'm surprised people still go to these lengths to nick them... is there any reason they do? Are newer 'fast' saloons harder to steal?
