great! It's worth visiting once a year especially on a hot evening - americana few years back had a massive turn out, including fully dec'd out Rigs (truck cabs). It is basically turn up and display for free on a cordoned off quayside road - same place the south coast's biggest bike meet is every tuesday evening. As it is public people can get close to the cars so it's a at your own risk setup.... As it's on a friday eveing throughout the summer anyone coming from out of town should choose their outbound route carefully to avoid holiday traffic, mostly on the A31...got caught in it a few years ago - A338 & 35's the better bet. Also recommended to arrive at 545pm on the busier fridays to avoid 20min entry queue...or after 7 but some leave as early as 7.. Ends at 9.
