Anyone purchased wheelie bin storage or something similar to hide them away?

I've just cut down some trees and about to redo the front but I need to hide potentially 8 rolleyes bins (4 in a row x 2 back to back). I've found a place online and went to see the storage, although at circa £600 I'm sure there must be a better alternative.

A shed with a wide door?

Be careful of hiding anything with food away - we had bin storage for food in our halls, and the rats that lived on the food there were bigger than cats.

8! Blimey!

We have 2 hidden behind a trellis screen with a climber twining around it, makes access easier too on bin day.

Well, 3 per household at the moment, but this will be for me + next door. There's talk of a fourth bin for food waste rolleyes so if I'm going to do this need to have it covered. The best I've seen so far is at: http://www.wheeliebincovers.co.uk/shop/double-whee...

I had a shed built to my own spec which includes wheelie bin storage. It's a 5x7 pent roof shed, but the roof slope goes between the short sides not the long sides, so the shed is about 1m 80 high at one end and just over 2m high at the other. The "low" end is a 5x5 box with its own door, which stores the lawn mower and garden tools. The "high" end is a 2 x 5 box with double doors which stores two wheelie bins with a shelf above for the three recycling bins.

It's a decent quality build, shiplap construction, not like the flimsy paper-width jobbies you buy in Wickes. Cost me about £470 inc vat delivery and fitting.

If you're in Coventry you're not a million miles from me in Northampton - it was these people who built it :

I may be having to get rid of it in a month or so to make way for an extension though :-(

I have something like this but it only takes 2 bins.

I suppose you could buy 4 of them. It's still cheaper. scratchchin

I bought something like this for about £280. Stained it black, self assembly. To be honest the timber is a bit thin and not properly cured, some of the slats have warped, but it does the job perfectly.
