There's not a lot to say about this video, other than we liked it, although 'other channels' are postulating it marks a return to the 'Ultimate Driving Machine' tagline for BMW - in the US at least.

That's not strictly true, because BMW has never actually stopped using the slogan that helped to cement its reputation - even if 'Joy' is the characteristic most commonly evoked in the brand's advertising today.

Anyway, you might like this...

What are the BMW diesels getting, 50mpg? And what engine is in that 5 series thats getting 32mpg, must be the x50i to be getting so low no?

They've got smaller gallons. I think 32 mpg US is about 39-40 mpg UK.

isn't yank petrol about two thirds cheaper aswell? The ron is lower too (on average)

Don't be silly. They didn't mean the bit with the plane. They meant drinking hot coffee while driving. You have to be a Professional to do that.
