For my FHC, the air is taken through scoops fitted in the rear side windows. Two 3" silicone ducts then run through the floor towards the centre of the car terminating in a small bracket fixed to the chassis. The ducts point directly at each caliper. Sorry, I have no pictures.

This is whats on my 400

I didn't put them on but it seems like a good idea if rear cooling is required. One is fitted either side to the floor,
the flexi hoses are just tie wrapped up and over the chassis rails to the calipers

Mine are the same.

Currently working on the rear end of my car so will take some pic's but won't be to the weekend.

TOPTON's solution may look better though for a road car.

Thanks for the replies gents.

Like the look on Topton's set up, might see what I can come up with that is similar.

Cheers, David

Dave.

What about running a pipe from the panels just behind the door through the inside and straight to the top of the brakes?
It would also give you the 'fk off great big hole in the boot' type panel to service your handbrake and calipers!!

I love those great big scoops under the car.

Must get some REAL cooling when you go through big puddles...plus the odd small child or Yorkshire Terrier ? hehe

Would be a good idea I guess but it is mainly a road car that I take on the track so just want a way to keep the rear brakes cooler whilst on track so the more subtle/hidden the better.

Last outing on Anglesey I was a little bit too vigourous and a little too long out in one go and seriously overheated the rears, lots of smoke coming out of the rear arches but all was OK once they had cooled laugh Just want to build a little more comfort into the brake temps so I can get away from the initial 'confidence dab' of the brakes prior to the corners.

PUDDLES confused What are they?? It only goes out to play in the dry.

As far as small children and yorkies go, well they will already be shredded by the body mounting bolts sticking too far through the chassis plates that I haven't cut off yet whistle
