E70 X5 Retro-fits

My Bro has just bought a 2009 X5 which is missing a couple of options he wanted - the heated stearing wheel and the automatic boot. He's asked at the dealer and initially, he was told they could be fitted (prior to buying) but now he's being told they can't.

Does anyone know for sure how to check this?

Also, can comfort access be added retro?

Any help appreciated.

The car was bought 10 days ago, having been told that the upgrades were doable. Having booked the car in, the story has changed. Frustrating.
