Wanting a 4mX3m (ish) garden office, budget up to £12k (ish) - any suggestions of companies that will do this in the south east?

Had one installed in November by Booths Garden Studios.

Most impressive thing is the level of insulation. Pretty much all others we looked at were garden sheds with a bit of Celotex on the roof.

I'll be getting something similar built in the new year, and £12k sounds like a fortune to me.

What kind of spec are you looking for?

Based on my extensive investigations for most of last year, that is pretty much the minimum for something useable all year round. I guess it's possible to get something cheaper and spend a load on heating it, but I was concerned that any papers/books etc would end up getting damp.

Looking at something like that - 4X3m, fully insulated to a normal house spec. £10+VAT is the average for a "good" one. Plenty about that look like sheds!

keep away from glassbox.co.uk and glassboxbox prefab, the owner is a long time scammer and there are several people that have lost money on both the companies. one set straight up after the other went bust.

can provide more details if needed

That looks good, but I decided I didn't want the upkeep of a wooden building, hence went for Booths QC office.

I looked at sheds with a bit of insulation for £14k

You can also go £20k and beyond for better quality.

I didn't get a quote from them, but spoke to people who did.
