Afternoon all,

Just purchased a MK1 Eunos for my mother as a little weekend toy. When you open the front windows, they go very slowly. Is this normal? Are there any common faults with these?

Cheers

Yes, very normal smile

You can buy new electric window kits and fit them relatively cheaply/easily. For the time being, spray WD40 into the runners.

I achieved a quick fix by removing the door cards and spraying chain grease into the runners. I guess this might not be as good a long term solution as dismantling fully, de-greasing and then re-greasing but it was dead easy to do and the results so far are excellent.

Silicone lubricant will work much better. WD40 will dry out quickly and will also remove any lubricant that's already there so is a bad choice wink
