Does anybody know how many pro mods will be takin part in this years Main Event?

I reckon at least 20, entry lists should be out very soon considering the official closing date for entries is this Friday

IMO there will be more than 20. There was some attrition amongst the British cars at the Thunderball but I am sure there will be c25+ on the entry list.

Version 1 out now and 18 Pro Mods entered with the first 3 from last year and AR not yet in the list, so at least 22 then.

there is only 3 of the top 10 entered so far, although no 10 wont be there
and no cadilac no Markus Hilt no Freddie

Thanks Graham, I noticed in particular the absence of the Champion, Micke, Bruno Bader and Gus. I did notice the lack of lower top 10 numbers as well. Do you think they will be there, because we might even top 30 cars if so? It would also be great to see the Cadi. At last years event Jan spent 30 minutes talking to us on the saturday, when it was hammering down and showed us the car and the trailer, top bloke.

I am sure the "regulars" will all be there. It will be the same as most years, whatever the weather, whatever the track conditions, the same old drivers/teams will be up there qualifying well and pushing for the win.

I'd imagine Freddy will be over he racing at Tierp, new slightly modified aero carbon fibre front and carbon fibre doors on the truck, looks like the new paint job is be shot at the moment too

i checked all weblinks from the drivers profiles on promod.nu - only two of those team websites are up to date.

1. marcus hilt: he will be at the main event
2. ulf rapp: will not be there

but still the lindahl bros are not on the list. they just set a new track record at malmö. the lundqvist family will hopefully be there too, rolf amann and i also hope freddy and jan with the badilac will be there as well. will spencer tramm be ready in time? frosty?

my guess: 30 entries. bring it on!

martin and tom wont be coming to the main event,
i just heard the lindahls wont be coming from a good source ill check that tomorow,
rolf amman id guess if hes not entered he wont be comming same goes for freddy and jan gunnarson, unless the entrys are in the post...my guess is that the tierp event has hurt the main event entry

Yes we should.. My entry should be there,and unless there's an act of god the car will be at the Main Event.
I've no idea what we'll be running because it's brand new,and i'm (and all of us) taking it one step at a time. Hopefully i will have done my licencing runs and i will be ready to try and qualify. Try being the objective word,as unless there's only 16 cars left(including us)the chances of us making the field are slim.
Only until we get data on the car will we have an idea of what the car will do.
Guesstimates don't make the field..

martin and tom have never run for fia points and i doubt they will untill the car is sorted out properly, same as we wont,
I guess its a question of money the lindahls will be testing a turbo car too so i can see why they wouldnt come, same as we wont go there this year,
things change so who knows
i also heard that roger johannson wont be there either, although i talked to him today and he never mentioned it either way........ill be surprised if we get 30 at this stage but anythings possible

i read on myspace davids car is coming together and it is said to be at the mpm village. so i hope he will run it as well.
