Trying to persuade a friend to come along to LeMans 24hr this year, but looking for some extra leverage on the old persuasion front smile ( I know, shouldn't need it!)

What bands are playing this year, other activities to do without splashing out a fortune while there?

Suggestions would be welcomed.

Cheers smile

Beer, cars and the Hawaiian Tropic girls (or whoever is providing the pre-race distractions this year...) aren't enough ??!

Optional considerations can also include:

- a weekend away from She Who Must Be Obeyed
- red sausages (without socks...)
- Classic British Welcome and the Pistonheads meets
- Arnage, at night
- being soaked, frozen or roasted depending on the whims of the weather gods

The band is Razorlight this year .... but I wouldn't base attending LM on who the band(s) is (are).

Now you tell us...

There's also the drivers' parade on the Friday evening, and you can get into the pit lane on the Friday for free.

Other than that, tell her you're staying somewhere with electricity for her hair-dryer / staightening irons / other female electrical appliances and you'll be sorted wink

radio le mans commentary - so she'll know what's going on/who's winning

also, might be worth 'managing expectations' on the toilet front.....

Indeed, and explain that there will be 100's, no 100's of THOUSANDS of blokes watching her walk past throughout the weekend.

Le Mans, lacking in females since 1806.

Depends on either'

How "dirty" she is
or

or
a combination of both

Oh that cool, I like Razorlight. How much does it cost to see the band play?

My girlfriend has been for the last 2 years, she is a petrolhead anyway and could probably drink most of us under the table. Handy with a bbq to, always a bonus!

Have always been with OH - usually in her car.

In fact I had to change OH's so I could swap from going in Westfield to a TVR.

Sounds like a lot of you aren't doing LM right wink
