Sex and porkers - counterpoint (or otherpoint).
Discussion
After the recent thread on how much more sex Beemer drivers get compared the rest of us poor mortals (www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=98121&f=48&h=0), I thought you may be interested in the results of another survey that I have just received by email. Unfortunately it is in French, so I'll just give you the gist of it:
---------------
A German survey of 2,253 motorists published in "Men's Car" (sic) found that nearly 1 in 2 (49%) of male Porsche drivers admitted to having been unfaithful to their partners. BMW came second on this criteria, with 46% of men admitting to it, followed by Ford (44%).
For the female drivers, head of the infidelity league were Audi drivers (41%), followed by BMW (39%), Italian cars (37%) and Porsche (37%).
The most faithful drivers were, for both sexes, Opel (i.e. Vauxhall) drivers, with only 31% of male and 28% of female drivers admitting to infidelity.
---------------
Conclusions? I reckon the Porsche drivers were the more honest ones , but am considering buying a GM product for my wife (as long as I don't have to drive it!)
