Rumours abound in the Russian motoring press as Nikolai Smolenski revealed TVR are to return to car production.

Nikolai is quoted in a leading Russian car publication as saying:

NS: "No one was more upset about the demise of TVR than me, its my intention to bring this famous name back to the roads again"

JOURNALIST: "Can you confirm what form the new car will take?"

NS: "Although most people accept the Chimaera was the most beautiful TVR ever, I always loved the Wedge shaped cars"

NS: "Its certainly true the Wedge cars became impossibly unfashionable in the 1990's but I think the shape has matured nicely"

JOURNALIST: "The modern sports car market is very competitive these days, what will the unique selling point be for the new TVR"

NS: "There are a number of innovative & exciting features on the new car, while I don't want to give too much away I can say the body will be constructed from an advance organic material never before used in car production"

JOURNALIST: "Are you talking about a new space age composite?"

NS: "No it way more sophisticated than that"

JOURNALIST: "Can you elaborate?"

NS: "To be honest its much easier to explain visually"

Hi Jonny, I will be at the Cheese Fest for sure.
