swap reverse and fog lights
Discussion
Hi,
In the Netherlands, the rear fog light needs to be on the left side of the car. Obviously, on my UK tuscan it is on the right. I would like to swap the reverse light and fog light. Does anyone have any idea how this can be done? How to remove those lights from the body?
Thanks,
Maurice.

Maurice,
I've imported my Tuscan about a year ago and done this. It's quite easy, but to get the lights out in one peace you need patience.
- Unscrew the holders with the lightbulbs out for both lights so only the housing is left in the body.
- In the boot : Remove the glue which holds the light housing in the body as far as possible with a knife.
- Try to twist the lights to break the rest of the glue and remove the lights
- Clean lights and the holes in the body.
- Glue lights in right position.
- Remove the two black covers in the boot (backside of boot)
- swap the light cables (they have to be cut through and lengthened) to reach the new position of the lights
If you need more info PM please.
Ronald.

...and don't forget to seal the lights with silicon sealant after you swap them.
When I first bought my Tuscan, on the second day of ownership and before I had managed to rent a closed garage, I left the car out in the rain, and the next day my boot was soaked in water. Apparently, it was coming in through one of the lights that was removed in the past and not sealed properly. Took some time to figure it out..
Good luck..
