Anybody else finding it easier to find WOMD than send email today on NTL?

Far be it from me to suggest that as you work in IT........

Their help desk aren't up to much either. Rang them once to tell them one of their DNS's were dead and I had to get to third line support manager before anyone even understood WTF I was on about.

No, thats.. Worked in IT, i know work in daytime tv watching and crisp consumtion, oh and PH posting! Thank god i rarely had to talk to those call centres in my job. It was all business to business and was soooo much more professional. Synstar were a bit of a nightmare though!

I still have internal numbers to NTL .... Get right to the techies that run the systems ...

Shall we start the bidding .... 01483 ....


alternativly, There are a few NTL Techies on here that occasionally post.

yes, but its a re-direct ... the Network Management centre (SDH, Optical, Transmission, Internet etc)used to be run out of a datacentre there, when the location changed, they just put a re-direct on the switch to a remote hunt group. The 01483 numbers though also go to indicidual extensions of the hunt group

Mine went about 30 mins ago...so I guess they've fixed the problem
