Fans coming on at 70???
Discussion
OK, so had a great driving weekend this weekend.
However, I noticed on Saturday that the fans were cutting in at 70, and not 90 like usual. So, I removed the numberplate from the grill to below (P reg). Thought a long blast may sort it out.
After yesterday, got home and the fans are still cutting in at 70, not 90 like usual. ANy ideas out there??
Cheers

Assuming the cooling system is OK...
Screwed up otter switch...
Screwed up temp guage/sensor...
They are independent of each other.
Worth checking water levels and with an external thermometer in case there is something mnore drastic like a water leak or low water level.
Edited cos I got a Cerbera confused with a Chim

Water levels fine, checked it Saturday morning, so I will check the other 2 out. Will have a look in the bible tonight about how I actually "check" them.
Car was at Racing Green for 2 weeks whilst they tried to find a lumpy running fault, which included a lot of test driving so I am hoping they would of found a fault with the cooling system them, so am assuming that's fine.
Cheers
