I've just been forced to change locals after my usual closed. The new one seems mega cheap!

£2.25 for a pint of IPA.

How much is yours?

ETA: and what is it, for those of us on a budget there could be some handy hints hehe

hehe

At the age of 30 I've just discovered 'real ale'!!

It's such a shame local boozers are dying out. My regular pub (of about the last 12 years!) closed a month or two ago. It was run by a fella who became a great friend, so I was genuinely sad when it closed.

I've been going into what is my next most 'local' since and found out the other day the plan is for that to be shut down too. A petition has been prepared to send to the brewery, but I guess the only way they'll take any notice is if their takings show it!

Please support your local pubs people - you'll miss them when they're gone!

Round my way, pints are easily £3-4 and spirits more, even a couple of hours in the pub easily becomes £20, not surprising that people are going to them less.

Depends if it's a weekday or the weekend really.

Weekdays £1.90, Weekends (Thurs-Sat) £2.50 or so.

Hoegaarden £9 for a 375ml bottle,
Stella £5.50 a pint,
VB £4.50.
some imported Belgium beer £12+ per 500ml bottle.

That's about the average price you'd pay in a lot of Aussie pubs. Very expensive nights out here in Oz.

1.15 Lev, or roughly 50 pence for a half litre of lager. That's the local stuff, Stella, Bud, etc. is double that, about a pound a half litre.

As someone has done teh Auzzy prices give some Singapore ones.

Out wher ei live in the back of beyond prices are about

GBP1.60 for a 330ml Tiger
GBP3 for a bottle of Heinekin or similar
GBP4 for a guinness
GBP5 for any posh imported stuff

In town
GBP5 for a 330ml Tiger
GBP7 for a bottle of Heinekin or similar
GBP7 for a guinness
GBP7 + for any posh imported stuff

Rental costs realy affect beer prices here, hence why i live in the back of beyond hehe

£3.50 and I don't know which option to select because of the option crossover frown

I chose £3.50-4 because a lager is around the £4 mark so it represents the pub better.
