The event comprises:

- New, modified, classic and vintage cars and motorbikes
- 7 themed “Zones” spread throughout The Haughs
- Music, entertainment, competitions, food stalls and commercial stands
- A great family day out with something for everybody!

The objectives of the Turriff MotorFest 2011 are:

- To raise the profile of Turriff and the surrounding area in terms of domestic tourism, providing economic benefits to local businesses and the community at large
- To encourage responsible road use to people of all ages, but particularly young people throughout the area, with the aim of reducing road accidents and fatalities

Throughout the day there will be musical entertainment ranging from Rap to Rock.

If you have a vehicle that you would like to showcase at this event, please send a photo, which will be featured in our gallery, and contact the team. Please also use our chat room to speak to like minded motorheads.

I've just seen on the facebook page for the event that they're looking for volunteers for the day (minimum 2 hours) which gets you free entry.

I'm in Turriff too, but I'm off down to the Knockhil drifting and Time Attack, so won't be there.

Not sure how good it's going to be, but best of luck to them anyway.
