Folks, with the rain arriving again, just a heads up to remind people that the roads are going to be slippy after the recent hot spell.

I had a bit of an 'interesting' route round a roundabout between Cambuslang and East Kilbride where I reckon some diesel had been spilled, add some water and not a lot of grip!

Drive Safely! smile

Coming up the hill from Cambuslang, it was the one before Kirkhill Golf Club, if that means anything to you, so after Kirkhill GC if you are going to Cambuslang.

Ah, the tiny wee roundabout on Greenlees road... feck going that way then - that roundabout is a pain at the best of times!
Cheers for the heads up, I'll just come in from the Springhall side biggrin

The roads in South and North Lanarkshire were certainly entertaining this evening.

Driving between Bigger and Shotts it varied between very and very very slippy.

Know that roundabout well, can be dodgy at the best of times! Then again, the same could be said for driving anywhere near Springhall biggrin

Abit of a 3 car pile up on the A737 at st James'. Guessing it was due the slippy weather. Had a little more slip than I expected on a roundabout as well.

Guess the roads in Edinburgh should be OK - there are enough potholes to grip you extra grip!
