Just bought a car with a current MOT cert which mentions that an Advisory Notice was issued at the time (last June), but that Notice wasn't included with the car's history. Is there any way of finding out what was on that Notice?
Yes, you can get a full MOT history with the V5 reference. Can't recall the website now, probably VOSa. Someone will be along. I once did it on a high mile Saab - it had had more advisories than I've ever had in my life.
Hmm, thanks to all for this, the official history suggests no advisory was issued with the current MOT which contradicts the 'Yes' in the 'Advisory issued?' box on the VT20 pass cert.
Belay that, the way they lay out the info on the site is weird, I've managed to find it, turns out the advisory was just for a worn tyre so that's good to know. Thanks again to PHers here for the help.
