Hi guys.

I finally got round to redoing my site. I wanted more focus on the photos so its pretty simple.

Any comments more than welcome.

If I didnt have broadband the site would be a slug... that pic of the Morgan grille is 200KB .. if you've got photoshop or similar you can get that JPG down to 35-40 KB which really will be appreciated by those on dial-up!

Nice site, nevertheless

Ed,
I was thinking about image compression vs image degredation. I will have a rethink, cheers for your comment!

Some nice shots on there. In particular I like the 360 with puddle, and also the red flower shot with the black background. How did you take that one?

To take that one i set the camera up and composed the photo so it looked ok with the wide aperture then set my flashgun off on a low setting so the light fell away quite short.

It provided a highlit area inside the petals but threw the rest of the flowers into shadow.

Thanks for your comments, I hope this helps!

What about for displaying the models? Do you use anything special for the base and background, or just white cardboard/cloth?

cheers bilko!

When i did the site i wanted it to be more about the photos than anything else so i tried to keep the navigation etc really minimal and simple so there were no visual distractions. Im glad it works for you!
