Subaru Turbo TD04L Water feeds

Hi getting conflicting advice here so best to ask...

Im using 2 X TD04L's on a V8 Engine on piping the turbos there is a top and a bottom water feed on the turbo. Is top the feed and bottom return to rad?

That how I have them plumbed in but my mate reckons should be other way around, i.e. top to rad and bottom to feed.

Nice choice of turbo. I have a couple of these spare and have considered exactly what you are doing...

The top pipe goes to the top of the header tank on my Subaru, so ought to be a return if there's any sense in the world.

In from the bottom, out of the top. Think about if there was air in the system, you'd want it to travel up with the water flow.
