Talk about nervous trolley jack work! I think I literally lowered it onto the stands (all 4 corners) a millimetre at a time. Wheels into Jorvik tomorrow for a refinish.

ooh, how much do they charge for a set of wheels? I'm thinking of getting the Z's done and quite fancy a black chrome finish I think it is. Do they have a website with pics of the various finishes?

Not sure of pricing as it varies but if you give them a ring they will quote you.

Seemed top notch today. Good people to deal with, some great examples of their work. I just hope I've gone for the right colour. A dark grey metallic (fogotten the proper name for it).

Should have them back mid week next week. Ill post pics. Down to 2 cars now as one is up on stands and the other wont go into neutral and that'll be away at MK/Yorkshire Engines for dunno how long, sob. How do people manage with 2 cars? beyond me. ;-)

Could be, christ knows, I committed it to memory and then promptly forgot. I wouldnt mind, I'm only 41 and I'm losing it already.

It looks nice though, dark grey, metallic with little bits in.

my wheels cost i think..... about £320 for the lot - that was a full strip and powder coat. My wheels where all in good condition to start with so didnt need any additional fixing, i Just wanted to darken them.

Well, they rang me this afternoon to say they were done already. Tim went in at the weekend to do them as I had mentioned in passing I was working from home tomorrow (live near York, offices in Leeds so its easier tomorrow than any other day).

If the wheels are as good as the service (collecting tomorrow), then they will be fantastic.

Pics tomorrow lunchtime!
