classic car insurance under 25 help please

Hi all anyone able to offer any advice on who to try .

Under 25 will be in June
3yrs no claims but using them on my current car will be using one years on this policy .

Clean license no accidents or convictions held for 3years hgv class 1 license held for 2years .

Car is a BMW 1988

any help much appreciated

I'd give adrian flux a call as a starting point... footman james ,both of those insured me on a classic when I was under 25, still with flux and I've had my moneys worth out of the rescue cover. Peter Best and Carole Nash also come recommended by others, though not sure how competitive they are for the younger enthusiast.

many thanks will give them a buzz in morning just getting stupid qoutes of 2k plus atm from churchill etc as its only weekend toy want to try get limited mileage etc

tried footman james cant touch me because of under 25

adrian flux came up with best of 700quid but can only give me that if garaged 1000miles a year max and cat 1 alarm . and i have previosly owned one of these exact cars

no offence but i find they all pick numbers out of a hat because am only able to use 1years no claims because others are tied up on my daily car might not be helping .

and the fact not been 25till june and was told been a hgv class 1 driver could be fetching up even more makes no sence to me seams i see it as a higher class of licence and proven myself also have pass plus etc .

thanks ash already phoned them fella and best could do was 700quid and cant give me that because i dont have a garage .

been speaking with a mate who has traders policy younger than me and has been banned and he is only paying 1300 to drive anything upto value of 100k which seams like might be the route to go atm

Have you tried joining an owners club that has particular insurance arrangements for members?

I wasn't quite 21 when I bought my TR7 but got classic insurance through owners club membership; I think it was Footman James at the time. They said on the phone that while they wouldn't normally have quoted for someone so young, it was because I was a member (presumably because I was prepared to pay an annual subscription to be one, it helped show that I was a genuine enthusiast) that they agreed to insure me.

This was 10 years ago mind, and things have changed a lot since then!

i tried all the owners club route but was having none of it .

insurance past 3months has rocketed i insured a car for the year but had tpo get rid of it only one month later now in a postion to insure same car etc with same company they wanted a further 560,00 even though i had another years ncb than before seams very crazy atm am getting qoutes for comparsent on stuff like 1.0 corsa of 1173,96 leads me to belive if call them tommorow might get higher or lower biggist gamble in history haha

am searching into traders policy also so if anyone has any pointers in that direction much apprecaited
