radiator shroud
Discussion

It just needs to sit a few inches above the rad, bends down at the front to touch the rad, bends down at the sides to connect into the side pieces, and needs two big holes in it where the fans bolt on, make sure it is sealed to the rad, or the shroud will be useless.
The most effective mod for lowering coolant temps is to seal the rad to the underside of the clam.
Over on this side of the pond, the very early 3Rs had a fan shroud made out of bent anodized aluminum. Later 3Rs and M400s had the fan shroud made out of GRP or fiberglass. Should be very easy to make out of aluminum, if you have access to a box and pan brake and a welder. All you really need to know is the distance needed between the fan and the radiator.
