Iron stair spindles.

I am looking for about 30 iron spindles and an iron newel post for the staircase in my house.
The original ones have been taken out and replaced (badly) with wooden ones and it just doesn't look right.
I presume a building reclamation yard would be a good place to start but the only one I know of has moved in into reclaiming more modern buildings, high-rises etc so can't help.
Does anyone know of anywhere in the Aberdeen/Dundee area that might be able to help?
