Anyone watch this?

It was pretty much as expected really, with friends/relatives and so on being horrible...... I did wonder just how much some of the winners had thought through what they would do with a win etc.

No I didn't I wanted to but was out. I've always said to the missus I wouldn't tell anyone if I won a mega life changing sum of money. I'd carry on as normal and just treat people as I see fit.

Some very tasteful swimming pools, I thought. The only ones who've suffered are idiots as far as I can tell. Like that welsh guy who told everyone he knew then carried on living in a crappy part of town, what did he think was going to happen?

The guy who moved to Scotland to live a "very private life" had the right idea, although he's probably pissed that they've just reminded everyone how much money he has/had.

Yes I thought in the main it was fairly clear who was a muppet and who was being sensible about things (well, as much as can be when one agrees to go public!).

I could be wrong but I though there were a few suicides as well from those who had lost tickets!?!? No mention of those on the show, perhaps unsurprisingly (assuming my recollection is correct).

I'd never go public if I won the lottery, I'd probably still carry on going to work for a while too...I wouldn't know what to do with myself TBH. I'd Probably disappear and live a hermit's life.

This.

I've given it some thought lol.

I'd pay the mortgage off.

Next I'd reduce my work hours cherry picking what I wanted to do. All that boring admin st would go straight out the window. Get me a PA to do all that lol.

Other than that I'd probably invest in property or a small business. Go to the gym more as now I have no excuse not to be uber fit with a relaxed working schedule.

Lastly I'd help people out where I see fit. Bit of a secret millionarie existence.

Lastly my watch and trainer collection would grow massively lol.

Exactly.

It's really partially a matter of not being a pillock and immediately buying a million pound mansion or driving everywhere in your new F430 Spider.....

You can "start a business" and after a year or so it "does really well" and use that as a way to help people out and explain your success and new wealth..

As for going public - not in a million years. Hell, we have very carefully considered which friends and family could be told!!

I always kind of feel sorry for the big cheques and champagne people, it kind of seems that going public will ruin them if they already have that mentality.

You're on PH and you'd have a shoe and jewellery collection?

I wouldn't go public either, I'd probably just move and say I'd sold my business to my new neighbours.

Why? Half the thrill of winning will be so that I can help friends/family.

Honestly. What did he think was going to happen? If he's that much of a dick to buy a ticket then NOT check it he deserves the shame! Typical ttty chav who thinks the world should bend to his own stupidty! And who the feck is going to buy his book?

Unfortunate for him though wasn't it?!! But I think they would have been inundated with sob stories and scams of people trying to claim other unclaimed prizes if they let that one go.

We do ours on-line so we can't lose the ticket...............
