I'm seeing more and more A4 sized Saltires popping up around Aberdeenshire and beyond.

These oftern appear hand painted and many are attached to fence posts at the end of farm road.

Anyone else noticed these?

Any theories on what it's all about?

Cheers,

Eric smile

Yeah seen a few of these in the Aberdeen/shire area.

Was something written on one I saw the other day but I really can't remember what it said, think it was something political though.

Yes, I've seen loads of them too. I assumed they were an unofficial snp campaign?

I've seen one with 'No London Lies' written on it, I assume by the same people putting up the Saltires. There's been a few up around Stonehaven for ages, recently more have appeared out along the a92 and b979.

On the basis that the SNP won every seat north of central Scotland (except for the Orkneys and Shetlands) I reckon it's the unofficial support team for Alex Salmond.

Noticed them too. Just the flags. no message on them. Subliminal campaigning. Better than any flyer. Did the job.

it's probably the same guys who keep writing "End London Rule" on the wall at the Maryculter bridge

Glad to see the Scottish people waking up and realising we are not a bunch of retards. End the negativity and look to the positives.

I'm afraid I have to brave the 'shire to get to work ... otherwise I'd stick to the city all the time. wink

On Friday, I actually went to Kemnay! It was like being in a foreign country ... or, at least, how I imagine it would be like to be in a foreign country if I'd ever been to one ...

Cheers,

I've noticed a couple of these near Pitmedden - One on the long straight with "labour lies" and another with "End london rule".

You have to wonder who goes to the effort.
