What's your favourite Ferrari?

I'm sure most of us would love a Ferrari in our dream garage but which one, past or present? I'm struggling a bit, as the newer ones are really fast and striking to look at (458 Italia, Enzo for instance) whereas the older cars are more beautiful but probably not as fast or sharp to drive (Dino/Daytona/250 GT etc). The only Ferrari I have driven is a 355 around a track and although it was amazing compared to the 1.4 Astra that I drove at the time, it didn't seem as fast or sound as good as I would have expected. The interior also felt a bit cheap for something so expensive! The open gate gearchange was lovely though and I lament the passing of this feature in the new Ferraris. Perhaps a 550/575 Maranello would bridge the gap between old and new nicely but it's not the best looking Ferrari and doesn't look its best in red! What Ferrari would be in your dream garage?

Got to be the Testarossa to me. Not the best performing Ferrari by some way, but the styling is amazing, and I love the interior. This rear deck just beats anything Ferrari have done since (or before, for that matter) by miles and miles.



I'm not that keen on Ferraris really, I like the 430 Scud, the Challenge Stradale etc, but I don't love them. The 512 TR though, now theres a Ferrari I could really love.

That's a tricky call, there's just so many. Forced to choose, I'd have to plump for the wonderful 288 GTO. Beauty and aggression in one design package has probably never been so beautifully achieved.

Definitely the 288 GTO. Any made after the 355 are just awful imo

I'll go for a 250P for the track and a 250 Lusso for the road





Most of the modern stuff leaves me cold but I find the 512TR very interesting, and the flat-12s sound fabulous.



Of these only the 250P would be red!

Chap next door recently bought his wife one of these (Homer bowling ball type present) and I couldn't wait to see it. Memories of the 80's and Miami Vice, but I have to say I was very disappointed when I saw it on the drive way. Just looked odd at the front, not how I remembered it at all. Admittedly I have not been in one since the early 90's. It's not the overall shape, which I think is great, it's just the smaller details. I don't think it has aged well at all. On the other hand his 308 looks good and not so dated.

Not helping is it.
