My fuel pump runs and runs and runs
Is this a fault in the ECU which can be reprogrammed, if so does anyone have the sofrtware / lead to sort it out?

Have you done the fuel wire mod? if so check the relay. my pump didnt work and then it started runing permantly until the batery was flat. it was causd by the relay filling up with water because it was mounted in the wrong place and upside down.

The pump has always done this, the mod has been done as well

I'm confused, are you saying the fuel pump runs when the engine is off ? If not then the pump will run with the engine.
When you turn on the ignition the pump should start & prime then cut off, then when you start the engine the pump will run until you switch it off, if it doesn't then sounds like a sticking relay.
